I have a background in theater as both a stage manager and actress, which not only exposed me to many colorful characters, but also gave me a strong grasp on realistic, effective, dialogue. Writing was never something I set out to do, it was more that I stumbled into it by accident, after watching a television show and feeling like I could have written and utilized the characters better. I'm an avid lover of the performing arts, so much of my inspiration comes from acting techniques, and a vast array of media ranging from excellent to highly questionable quality. When not at my day job or writing, I'm drinking tea, watching tv, or dancing wherever I can find space. I released my debut novel, Turtle A, a series of short stories called After;Life, and short story, “Hungry Ghosts on Halloween,” as part of an anthology called Whether or Not, with the Saga Fiction publishing house. I will be publishing my second novel, Broken Mirrors, Spilt Salt, and a Lifetime of Bad Luck, with Saga Fiction in the near future.
