I'm a Boston born, Brooklyn based author with a background in theater as both a stage manager and actress. My time in theater not only exposed me to many colorful characters, but also gave me a strong grasp on realistic, effective, dialogue. Writing was never something I set out to do, it was more that I stumbled into it by accident, after watching a television show and feeling like I could have written and utilized the characters better. I'm an avid lover of the performing arts, so much of my inspiration comes from acting techniques, and a vast array of media ranging from excellent to highly questionable quality. When not at my many day jobs or writing, I'm drinking tea, watching tv, or dancing wherever I can find space. My second novel, Broken Mirrors, Spilt Salt, and a Lifetime of Bad Luck, with Bombay Circle Press is out now, and I'm already back at it working on several new writing projects I can't wait to share!
